Early Sunday morning in Bernati, August 5

Another Sunday morning. This time I write from our camp Site Bernati on the Latvian west coast. We are around hundred people in all ages taking part in the camp from Thursday to Sunday.

Speciall guests this week are Kjell Karlsten and Miriam Oskarsdottir from the Salvation Army in Gotland. Gotland and Latvia have a long tradition of cooperation. Several hundred years ago Visby and Riga were two of the leading cities in the Hansa trade system.

The theme for this years Family Camp is "The Pot". We are all pots created by God for a special reason.

The "Children´s House" in Sarkani

Earlier this week we had the "Changing of the guards" in Sarkani. Sergejs and Aizan had their farewell meeting before moving to Seda, and the new leaders, Ilona and Dimitrij, were welcomed to take over the leadership of the "Children´s House" in Sarkani.

Now it is Sunday morning and soon time to go the the Sunday morning meeting at the Camp. Efter that we will start preparing for another week.
