34,000 Black Churches Break Ties With Presbyterian Church USA

- Charisma News - "The National Black Church Initiative (NBCI), a faith-based coalition of 34,000 churches comprised of 15 denominations and 15.7 million African Americans has broken its fellowship with Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) following its recent vote to approve same-sex marriage.
The Presbyterian General Assembly, the top legislative body of the PCUSA, voted last June to revise the constitutional language defining marriage. This arbitrary change of Holy Scripture is a flagrantly pretentious and illegitimate maneuver by a body that has no authority whatsoever to alter holy text."

Learning from the Salvationist's practice

From FSAOF webpage

This is My body given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” — Luke 22:19
I believe that Jesus asked us to remember Him during the breaking of the bread and the drinking of the wine every time, every meal, every day — no matter where we are, who we are, what we’ve done.
And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “
If we only practice remembrance when we take communion at church, we miss three opportunities a day to remember. What a travesty! Eugene Peterson says that “to eyes that see, every bush is a burning bush.” To those of us who believe that all of life is sacred, every crumb of bread and sip of wine is a Eucharist, a remembrance, a call to awareness of holiness right where we are.
I want the holiness of the Eucharist to spill out beyond the church walls, out of the hands of priests and into the regular streets and sidewalks, into the hands of regular, grubby people like you and me, onto our tables, in our kitchens and dining rooms and backyards.

Holiness abounds, should we choose to look for it.

The whisper and drumbeat of God’s Spirit are all around us, should we choose to listen for them. The building blocks of the most common meal — the bread and the wine — are reminders to us:
He’s here. He’s here, and He is good.
Every meal is an opportunity to remember Jesus, to honor Him and celebrate holiness. Take a moment at your table today, and thank God for His presence and goodness.

Bible prophesy and the coming Muslim anti-Christ

The Christian Bible and Christian Bible Prophecy predict that in the end times the Antichrist, a beast, an dreaded evil man, more evil than any who ever walked the earth in history, will be thrust upon the world scene, and that billions of people on planet earth will die between natural cataclysms and those killed by the Antichrist--including gruesome beheadings for those who refuse to bow to his religious-government system.

Millions of American evangelicals believe that the Antichrist will rise from Europe from a 'born again' Roman Empire, as depicted in the immensely popular Left Behind book series.
But what most people don't know is that the Muslim Bible and Islamic Prophecy also predicts the coming of a person fitting nearly that identical description: The Madhi, the Muslim Messiah! How can this be?

Walid Shoebat is a scholar of both Islamic and Christian religions and he does not believe the Antichrist will rise from Europe. Rather, he teaches in this video that the Antichrist will arise from Turkey in resurgence of the Ottoman Empire.

Rob Bell Trashes the Bible on Oprah

From Charisma News - For those who had any questions, Rob Bell has now made himself totally clear: He is willing to trash parts of the Bible as "letters from 2,000 years ago" when God's Word contradicts his views on same-sex "marriage."
Bell appeared on Oprah's Super Soul Sunday program together with his wife, Kristen, to promote their new book The Zimzum of Love: A New Way of Understanding Marriage. In an interview last December, Bell explained that on page 16 of the book, he and Kristen give their "whole hearted affirmation" to same-sex "marriage."...
So, according to Rob Bell, the church of Jesus should follow worldly culture and deny the plain teaching of God's Word in order to be "relevant."

Religious Cartoons & Sermons on Homosexual Practice - Global Trends, Concerns and Recommendations Re

- World Evangelical Alliance - "The discussions are many and the number of controversies increases regarding the freedoms of speech and religion in Europe and beyond. Should the press be allowed to publish cartoons that may be offensive to Muslims? Should shop keepers refrain from saying “Merry Christmas”? Is it hate speech to express that practiced homosexuality is a sin according to the Bible? Should we allow minarets to be built in Western Europe? The list can be made longer."
